  2. Please go away. Suiox is a friend to all of us here, and we support him and pray for him and his family. There is no need for what you are doing.

  3. Just saw these posts about our blog friend Sioux, so sad to hear one of this gang has lost a loved one.

Sioux there isn’t enough Scotch to dampen the loss, but if our paths cross at the Flying Puck let’s try anyhow.

  4. The NHL wants more scoring. Hank is happy to oblige. Just kidding (sort of). The thing is: if your goalie is the highest paid player on the team (especially with a salary cap) then he’d better be unworldly good. The only goalie in the NHL that I can see that is unworldly good is Carey Price. At his cap hit, Lundqvist is part of the problem because they are paying superstar price for merely good performance.

It’s the same with Nash. He’s turned into a good two-way player. In fact, the play that I remember from Friday’s game was when he hustled back to break up a Hurricanes rush. But, you don’t pay a tenth of your cap to second/third line wingers. He’s got to score goals. That’s what they traded for.

    Game Day!
Don’t pay attention to him. That’s what he wants. He wants to destroy this place. Won’t happen.
And removing his posts? He won’t stop. There is nothing else in his pitiful existence. No attention, and he wil go away eventually

  6. Good morning all! Doodie, that is one tremendously tremendous pre-game post!

Sioux, I’m terribly sorry for your loss.

I missed last night’s adventures, too, but all I can say is, don’t feed the troll!! Doodie, welcome to the dark side of blogworld admin. I sadly remember it well. Do you need me to save extra newspapers?

  7. Doodie, saw C3’s suggestion last night that you hand a spare set of blog keys to someone to help admin. It’s a good idea. You can’t be here 24/7…It’s one of the things I helped Carp with back in the day, before both our former overlords yanked my keychain.

  8. Hey, CCCP, please watch the language. If we’re going to honor Carp on this blog, how ’bout we honor his rule of thumb and keep it family friendly. Thanks.

We have a subhuman creature who showed up last night trying to disrupt the flow of the blog by posting personal info of the posters. I just don’t get what he’s trying to do since most of us who post on here know each other and know real names and whatever. The subhuman creature is looking for attention which we shouldn’t give him. His posts will be immediately deleted. I have the keys to the blog now.

  10. My post last night went up and was “pending moderation” so there seems to be at least some gatekeeping ability. Hope I can continue to post freely on the “safe list”

  12. Remember when playing Tampa was all about rivalry because of the UFAs that left NY for Tampa? They’re some of the most insignificant guys on that roster except for Stralman at this point. I like beating Cooper and I enjoy watching Bishop lose.

  14. Really annoying to hear that the idiots that continue to try and ruin our community continue to follow and harass us. I’m going to use Twitter login so you will all always know whether or not it’s me. Because you will be linked directly to my Twitter account. I assume that’s the safest way for all of us. As far as personal info: we can all be hypervigilant.

Worst case scenario: you can always just require registration here. I am sure we would all be willing to go through that brief process to keep it clean, safe and fun

  15. I really hope they didn’t fire rich cause of something I said. I was recently banned from the site at some point towards the end of last season. I didn’t offend anyone or say anything rude ever here. In fact I’ve been poked at by some for who I am. I never said anything. But once I was banned I sent an email to multiple people asking if I can be unbanned. They said they would look in to it, and I’ve never heard from them except for some PC email saying how they don’t discriminate against race religion and gender. Which was a bit rude since I was banned for neither of the above. It was simply for being gay. Next thing I know, the site is down, and Rich was fired. In the beginning people were so nice until they realized I was not a girl. As if they’re looking for dates. Imagine how desperate you have to be to be in a sports site looking for a date. Well, I hope my complaint was unrelated, and in the future, I hope people can just get over that barrier and let people just be who they are. I do know that another writer was fired as well. It thatbsite never had traffic. I hope it wasn’t me

Do I understand right, that some unbelievable jerk tried to make some jokes about it and/or was trolling this blog?
