  1. Interesting situation tonight. It can be argued that if we win we’ll wanna start losing a few, & if we lose we’ll wanna get back to winning.

  2. Nude post? Re-posting: what Fast did on that goal is what The and Nash should do every shift. Nice hit earlier, too, and a great start and finish by Oscar!

  3. I would argue, Cyprinus, that the Rangers, with their defensive depth, do not have the same problems other Ds have. No stars, but a good rotation.

  4. It was worth to try to soot for HZ anyway… Gallagher kreidered Hank, probably because of false sense of moral appropriation. Will it be any consequences? I don’t think so.

  5. Rangers could get either of three result since tonight, but playing a solid game. No passengers. Couple of weak goals by Hank, far more excellent saves.

  6. Great game, great point. Would have been, still would be great to get both points, but zero was in the cards. Strong game. Now for the 33ATGHE.

  7. Does anyone know how many PP goals and assists Stephan has this year? I can’t understand why he is out for PP. Refuses to shoot and too slow to get to loose pucks.

  8. Rangers have to face SOMEBODY. If you don’t want to face Pitt or Washington or Columbus and now Montreal is to be avoided, well, there’s not much left.

  9. Can’t understand Nash being so low on the SO order. Oh well, IMO it was the best game we lost this year. I don’t think that Grabs & Hayes got more than 1 OT shift. It also seems like that was only our 3rd or 4th Shootout of the year. Could that be right ?

  10. From what I see of Brady Shay and from his live interviews, I now get the distinct impression that he is one of those kids who thrives on positive input and grows in confidence with complements. Hate to say it, but he is one of those type of players that Torts would stymie and AV helps.

  11. Thought this was one of Brady’s best games. Played really smart in his own zone and made plays through neutral zone. Girardi had a good game as well.

  12. Thought that was a good game. Montreal was desperate for a win and we matched them pretty well. Shootouts are dumb so whatever on the final result. Kinda nice to see Hank and Price playing like …. Hank and Price. Nash was great and the 4th line was terrific. I don’t have a problem with how AV is deploying Buch and Vesey. JT shouldn’t be in the shootout…

  14. Good morning, boneheads!
Pretty good game last night against a desperate opponent.
4th line was giving Montreal fits all night long. Why? Because they are better than Montreal’s 4th line, and better than any 5-6 D-men that Montreal tried to play against them. How about Claude Julien trying to match Webber against Hayes’ line? This team is very deep upfront, I’ll take Price and the rest of Canadiens in 7 game series anytime.

  15. Nice to see both teams go for it in OT. Nash had his best game in a while. Surprised he didn’t get a chance in the shootout once the game was over.
I’d take these guys first round. It’s getting out of hand now with this list of teams they should avoid.

  16. Ilb,
If the Canadiens were not from Montreal Canada, I would be all for playing them. But since that are, I don’t want them. To many strange things happen when you play a team from Canada.

  17. I was actually talking about some olympic hockey game back in 1980… I think they call it
“the luckiest game on ice” or something like that 🙂
